Romina Cocca

She has performed in the series “The Split Barcelona” (BBC/ Sister Global), “Self-tape” (Filmax), and “Las del Hockey” (Netflix/ TV3); as well as in the films “My Oxford Year “(Netflix) and “The Penguin Lessons” (42/ Lionsgate). Also in TV shows such as Psicodriving (Antena 3) and Kubala, Moreno i Manchón (TV3).

Romina Cocca began her acting and musical theatre studies in Argentina, her home country, and later moved to New York to continue her training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and the HB Studio. She then lived and worked in film and TV in Mexico, eventually settling in Barcelona, where she studied the Meisner Technique with Rachael Adler and Javier Galitó-Cava. She also took specialized classes with directors and teachers such as Clara Segura, Alfredo Sanzol, Julio Manrique, Frank Feys, Tom Bentley-Fisher, Jesús Font, Enric Folch, Marco Calvani, and Luci Lenox, among many others.

Stand-up comedy

As a stand-up comedian, she has performed in the TV shows “20Vint” (RTVE 2), “Stand-up Revolution” (Antena 1, Romania), and for the renowned Spanish comedy channel Phi Beta Lambda.She has also been in “Poca broma” on the “Tarde lo que tarde” (RNE) radio show, and is the co-creator and host of the podcast "La Movidita” (IVoox, Podimo, Spotify).
