PRUDEN RAYO

Sevillian actor based in Madrid since 2011. Neutral and Andalusian accent. Pruden Rayo is an interpreter of body and soul, a creator who understands acting as a constant search for truth. His work is born from observation and humanity; each character, an opportunity to look at the world from another place. Formed between Seville and Madrid, he went through the School of Performing Arts, the School of Interpretation of Cristina Rota and Work in Progress, under the direction of Darío Facal. He has trained with teachers such as Fernando Piernas - his essential reference -, Juan Carlos Corazza, Lorena García de las Bayonas, Yolanda Vega, Gabriel Olivares and Andrea Jiménez, from whom he has absorbed a deep and contemporary vision of the profession. In the audiovisual field, he has participated in national productions such as Acacias 38, Sabuesos and Centro Médico. In theater, he has given life to characters in productions such as Las Suplicantes (dir. María Göher), La Maraña (dir. Óscar Domínguez), Holy God! And The Post-Futurist Ballad of the Mollusks (dir. Peace Benedek). His journey combines drama with comedy, always from a powerful physical presence and a contained sensitivity that leaves a mark. For fifteen years he was a professional swimmer, a discipline that together with contemporary dance, flamenco and martial arts, has shaped his body precision and his scenic dedication.
