Marla Xaviera

Marla Xaviera, born in 1997, is an Ecuadorian actress and filmmaker based in Berlin. At the age of 19 she starred in her first feature film Agujero Negro, which premiered at Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema in 2018.

She has previously lived in the United States and Argentina, where she studied theatre for three years at Universidad Nacional de las Artes (UNA). She's currently pursuing a BA in Screen Acting at Catalyst Institute of Creative Arts. 

Over the past nine years, Marla has appeared in numerous projects for theatre, advertising, television, and film. Her movement skills range from dancing to being able to run long distances on platforms. She's trained in the Étienne Decroux Corporeal Mime technique.
