About me

EU passport holder.

Marie Reignier is a French actress working between Paris and London. She performs in both French and English, and also speaks German and Italian, with some Spanish and Swedish. She trained in France and abroad and has also lived in Australia.

She works across film, television, and theatre and is particularly drawn to nuanced, understated characters and stories in which emotional shifts unfold with subtlety.

Alongside her acting work, she wrote, directed, and performed in Hollywood Brûle, created at the Studio Hébertot in Paris and presented over 32 performances in the fall of 2025. Set in 1950s America, the play explores the disillusionment of the American Dream and the quiet mechanisms of alienation it produces.

Her recent screen work includes Astrid & Raphaëlle (Season 5, France 2). She is also the recipient of the Louis Guilloux Prize for a short story (2010) and is currently developing several short film projects as a writer-director.

Marie is represented in the US and Canada by Worldwide Talent Management.
