My name is Marie Bathily. I am an actress, screenwriter and director. I'm often asked who I am first and although being an actress defines me more than anything else, I like to broaden my passion.
although being an actress defines me more, I like to broaden my passion.
I started out doing theatre at lycée for 4 years in an association called
association "Les Bergers en Scène". I was lucky enough
to perform internationally (Cuba, Spain, Mali, Algeria, Boston),
But following a change in my life, I had to put my future as an actor on hold.
My desire and my passion being stronger than my reason, I took up
by training at the Laboratoire de l'Acteur for a year with coach
for a year with coach Olivier Biercewicz. I continued
training at other schools such as LafabrikOrigin run by Abraham Touré and
Abraham Touré and le QG de l'acteur run by Oumar Diaw and Leslie Tompson.
I also did a number of internships in English so that I could expand internationally.
As an actress, I have taken part in feature films, series, short films, commercials and music videos.
As an actress, director and scriptwriter, I have written two short films, one of which was made for Nikon.
The second is is about mental health.
In 2023, I was lucky enough to perform at the Théâtre du Gymnase in
