Lía Chapman is an award-winning actress, director and producer born in the Dominican Republic, raised in New York and based in Madrid.
She holds a degree in Sociology from Fordham University in New York and graduated with honors in film directing from UCLA.
She is the founder of "Mis 3 Hermanas Producción", based in the Dominican Republic.
Her latest directorial work, "Último paseo", is among the top 10 short films of 2020 in her native country.
Lía published her first book, El Coraje del Actor (The Actor's Courage) in September 2020. Finalist in the category, life and experiences in the annual contest of the publishing house Círculo Rojo.
As an actor she has worked with great directors such as: Isaki Lacuesta, Julián Schnabel, Fernando Trueba, Antonio Banderas, Oz Scott, Agustí Villaronga and Leticia Tonos, among others.
