Joan Espinach is an actor and performer trained at the Barcelona Theatre School. He has also completed several camera courses at Estudi Karloff with Pep Armengol and Lluïsa Castell, as well as a Visual Arts and New Dramaturgy course with Fèlix Pons at Escola Massana. He recently participated in the Meisner Technique course with Manuel Castillo.
He was part of the cast of the short film Zapatillas Sin Cordones (2024) by Jeny Poquet. He has starred in short films with ESCAC and Blanquerna URL, such as the miniseries Braves, winner of the Catalan audiovisual cluster. He also participated in the short film Cos, a finalist in the VOC Ómnium Cultural.
He currently works with the PeixosPeixeres theater company in the play La Llibreria Màgica, teaching theater for children. At the beginning, she performed in the play Muses i Musaranyes (2022) by the Antàrtica de Teatre company, in Somni d’una nit d’estiu (2022), a free version directed by Pau Carrió, and in 4D Òptic (2021) by Javier Daulte, directed by Alberto Díaz at the Nau Ibanow.
As a performer, she has participated in various events and venues with her character Nana Meow, such as the Sala Apolo, the Candy Darling, La Casa de la Pradera, the Bodegón Club, the Espai Jove Boca Nord, the Sala Or, and the 2023 Sitges Pride.
