About me

Diogo Sales, hailing from an Afro-Indigenous background in working-class Rio de Janeiro, developed a passion for acting through his upbringing in percussion and Capoeira. At 18, he joined the Nós do Morro Theatre Company, a community theatre group in a Brazilian slum, where he began to hone his craft and express his cultural heritage.
