Daiana Provenzano is a vibrant multidisciplinary artist: actress, writer, director, art teacher and coach with a degree from the National University of the Arts in Buenos Aires. She had the honor of being selected to join a research team. Originally from Buenos Aires, she has indigenous roots from Argentina and southern Italy. As an actress, she has participated in numerous films, plays, and commercials worldwide. Her most recent work as an actress was presented at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival in New York in 2022.
As a playwright, her work "0800 Solutions" has been performed in theaters across Argentina. She was recently selected by the Maya art gallery "Muy" in Mexico for an artistic residency, where she directed the short film "El lenguaje de las flores" (The Language of Flowers). The film explores the ancestral Zoque culture, involving women from the community and narrated in their native language.
"Sirenas" (Mermaids) her first short film as a screenwriter and director, where she explores autobiographical material and elements of fiction, won Best Fiction Short Film at the América International Film Festival and received an Honorable Mention at the América Film Festival.
She is currently dedicated to art, teaching, coaching, and publishing her poetry book.
With a genuine character, guided by her desires and sensitivity, and open to every experience, Daiana shows a special interest in coincidences and points of connection with others. She feels a deep desire to work with directors such as Alejandro González Iñárritu, Andrea Arnold, Alice Rohrwacher, and Carla Simón.
