Cecilia Mure

Actress and graduate in Performing Arts from the University of Playa Ancha, Chile. She completed a Master’s degree in Advanced On-Camera Acting at Central de Cine in Madrid after being awarded a scholarship from Chile’s National Audiovisual Fund for Cultural Development and the Arts (FONDART).

As an actress, she has worked in Chilean television series such as Vidas en riesgo and Lo que callamos las mujeres, among others. She has also appeared in feature films including Distancia, directed by Nicolás Rojas, and Punto de encuentro, directed by Roberto Baeza, which was shortlisted to represent Chile at the 2024 Academy Awards and Goya Awards. She was nominated for the Actress Universe Awards for her role in the short film Exorcizamuste, directed by Diego Álvarez, which was selected as Best Horror Short Film by FANLATAM.

Additionally, she served as a jury member at the Santiago Horror Film Festival 2024 (SHFF), Chile. Her most recent work was in the short film Balcón con Vista al Mar, directed by Daniel Gelin. She has also appeared in various commercials in Chile and abroad, notably for the Orbit brand, directed by Nick Ball, which won a Bronze Lion at Cannes in 2021.

She has also worked as a screenwriter, co-director, and producer on short films such as El puzzle que no armaremos and After Love, as well as the feature documentary Aldarriak, which received a Special Jury Mention for Best Film Made by a Woman at the 17th Bilbao Invisible Film Festival in 2025.

She is currently developing her first fiction feature film, El suspiro de Venus, a project selected by the Film Project Incubator at the 18th Ícaro International Film Festival in Guatemala. This award granted her direct access to the festival’s International Co-Production Meeting, held in November 2025.
