CAROLINA ALLER

With a PhD in Performing Arts, I have developed my professional career by interrelating acting, film and theater production, and screenwriting. My debut film, “016,” is the first showcase for my worldview of social reality. I began my acting experience at the age of four and continued participating in various artistic projects until I was 17, when I created my own theater company called Jazz'ta, dedicated to developing educational activities through theater. My stage training took place at the “León School of Theater” and the “Alejandro Carvallo School” (Actor's Studio Method). At the “Marand” School of Dance and Music in Madrid, I completed my voice and body studies. During my four years living in Portugal, I participated in the theater project with the company “Fora d’horas” and in some local film projects.

Throughout my studies, I have continued my training with various audiovisual and theater professionals (Assumpta Serna, Achero Mañas, Roger Gual, Sedes, Jo Monteiro). I have also participated in numerous film festivals in Spain (Festival Internacional de Cine y TV Reino de León, Festival Gines en Corto, Filmets, etc.) and Portugal (Espinho) as an actress, producer, jury member, and presenter. My most recent audiovisual work as an actress includes national and international productions and co-productions: Campamento Garra del Oso by Filmax (a Portugal-Spain co-production), See You on Venus by Pitt Street Productions (Los Angeles), Las Locas del Obelisco (Spain), and the series Lisbon Noir (Portugal).
